Natureland

Yesterday we went to Natureland to kick off our topic on "Is this an animal?" We learnt about different groups of animals. We learnt about fish, amphibians, birds, mammals and reptiles.

We learnt that when Tuataras lay their eggs if they are hot they will turn into boy tuatara's but if they are kept cold they turn into girl tuatara's. Harry. We learnt about the skin of tuataura's. Their skin comes off them when they get bigger. Poppy and Willem.

We saw the fish. Charlie We saw a pig. Katie

We saw sea otters. They make milk for their babies. We saw them being fed mice. On of the sea otters swam with its mouse so they other sea otter wouldn't eat it. Matthew, Poppy.
